Nanchang PetroChina Gas Co., Ltd. is a foreign-invested enterprise primarily operated by PetroChina Zhongtai Gas Investment Group Co., Ltd. In August 2007, PetroChina Gas Group Company (a Hong Kong-listed company, stock code HK00603) and PetroChina Zhongtai Gas Group Investment Company acquired all equity of the former Nanchang Ruisheng Gas Industry Co., Ltd., obtaining gas operating rights in Honggutan New District and Nanchang Economic and Technological Development Zone. The company is mainly engaged in the construction and operation of urban natural gas pipeline networks and related ancillary facilities, the design and installation of urban natural gas pipeline networks, safety inspection, emergency repair and maintenance of urban natural gas transmission and distribution equipment, comprehensive development and utilization of natural gas, and related technical services and management consulting. At present, the company has laid over 70 kilometers of medium-pressure pipeline networks in Honggutan, Changbei Development Zone and Anyi County. In March 2008, it completed the construction of an LNG (liquefied natural gas) gasification station in Changbei Development Zone, with a storage capacity of 600M3 and a daily gas supply capacity of 60,000M3, enabling residents in Honggutan and Changbei Development Zone to use natural gas, bringing the long-awaited high-quality, low-cost and clean energy to Nanchang citizens.
