Nanchang Xinjian District People's Hospital

Nanchang Xinjian District People's Hospital, formerly known as Xinjian County People's Hospital, was founded in 1934. It has now developed into a Grade II Class A comprehensive hospital with advanced equipment, complete departments, and strong technical force, integrating medical treatment, teaching, and scientific research. It is a municipal Baby-Friendly Hospital, a People's Satisfied Hospital, and a Safe Hospital. It has been listed as one of the 500 county-level public hospitals supported by the national key support program, and was rated by the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine as a "Demonstration Unit for Traditional Chinese Medicine Work in National Comprehensive Hospitals." It has established a collaborative relationship with Zhongshan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University in Shanghai, been specially appointed by the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University as a governing unit of the medical consortium, signed a close medical consortium collaboration agreement with the Third Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University, and signed an agreement with the Science and Technology College of Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine to jointly establish the "Second Affiliated Hospital of the Science and Technology College of Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine." At the same time, the hospital is responsible for the health care and medical treatment of the district's 700,000 population. It is a designated hospital for basic medical insurance for urban workers and urban residents in Xinjian District, as well as for civil affairs major illness assistance. Currently, the hospital is undergoing renovation and expansion. The new internal medicine and medical technology comprehensive building will be put into use in the near future, laying a hardware foundation for the creation of a Grade III hospital. It is now openly recruiting a group of professional and technical personnel (including trainee physicians) from society to jointly promote the development of the hospital.
