晋江市中小学生劳动技术教育基地坐落在景色优美的紫帽山生态旅游园区的紫湖水……每期培训一周，可同时接纳参训学生800人。劳动教育基地立足“服务学校、锻炼学生”的宗旨，始终坚持以“培养学生健康人格，促进学生全面发展”为理念，大力夯实素质教育载体，充分发挥基地特殊的育人功能，努力探索社会转型时期晋江市中小学素质教育模式，实行封闭式的准军事化管理方法，把部队的内务管理条例引入到基地的日常管理中，并有针对性按照“严谨、安全、有序、活跃”的要求，开展形式多样、内容丰富的社会实践活动。
