Shangshang Apparel was founded in 1998 in Wuxi, Jiangsu. It is a comprehensive enterprise integrating apparel design, development, production, processing, and sales. Under the guidance of the national "Western Development" strategy and the "Belt and Road" policy, the Group invested 100 million yuan in 2017 to build the "China Chongqing (Rongchang) Garment Export Production Base" and established its group headquarters in Chongqing. The factory covers an area of 110,000 square meters, with 2,500 front-line production employees and 200 management personnel. Relying on OEM business in three major segments—sports, casual, and workwear—it has achieved an annual output of more than 12 million pieces of mid-to-high-end men's and women's apparel, with sales exceeding 300 million yuan. It is currently the most competitive intelligent apparel manufacturing enterprise in Southwest China.
The Group plans to achieve an annual output value of 1 billion yuan in 3 years and 3 billion yuan in 5 years, ranking among the top domestic apparel manufacturers. At the same time, the Group is expanding diversified development, running OEM, ODM, and OBM in parallel, and investing in apparel ecosystem enterprises, launching workwear, customization, and proprietary brand operations. It is upgrading its technological intelligent manufacturing advantages by establishing an industrial design center, a software research and development academy, and a smart manufacturing experimental factory, forming an apparel industry cluster.
