Zhejiang Nong Group Co., Ltd. was established through a major asset restructuring between Zhejiang Agricultural Means of Production Group Co., Ltd. and the former Shenzhen Stock Exchange SME board listed company Zhejiang Huatong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. The company's predecessor was Zhejiang Provincial Agricultural Means of Production Company, founded in 1952, and was restructured into a limited liability company in 1999. On June 11, 2020, the company's major asset restructuring plan was unconditionally approved by the Merger, Acquisition and Restructuring Review Committee of the China Securities Regulatory Commission. On January 8, 2021, the stock short name "Huatong Pharmaceutical" was officially changed to "Zhejiang Nong Shares", with the stock code 002758 unchanged.
