2017年8月1日起，泉州市鲤城部分公办小学及幼儿园正式更名，其中，泉州市延陵小学更名为“鲤城区第六实验小学”。鲤城区第六实验小学位于浮桥街道延陵社区，红白相间的教学楼、宽敞明亮的教室、绿草成茵的足球场让人眼前一亮。据悉，已竣工的鲤城区第六实验小学占地21亩，建筑面积约10007平方米，建有2栋教学楼，设24个班级，并配套建设足球场、篮球场等运动场地。
