Guanyi General Aircraft Co., Ltd. was founded in Shanghai and is a private high-tech aviation enterprise engaged in the development of complete general aircraft in China. With more than ten years of deep cultivation in the aviation industry, it has an international aircraft development team with strong technical strength, covering fields such as overall design, aerodynamics, structure, strength, composite materials, electrical systems, avionics, and airworthiness. The team has participated in the development of almost all important Chinese civil aircraft models, including ARJ21, C919, CR929, MA60/600, MA700, AG600, Z15, and AC311.
In 2014, the company launched the GA20 project, a single-engine four-seat fixed-wing general aircraft with fully independent intellectual property rights, which is China's first general aviation aircraft project with independent intellectual property rights owned by a private enterprise. It is a new-generation single-engine four-seat fixed-wing general aircraft developed with the three major international airworthiness standards of China (CAAC), the United States (FAA), and Europe (EASA) as the minimum design requirements. With the goal of "international certification and global sales," the GA20 aircraft can be used for flight training, sightseeing, private flying, and many other purposes, bringing customers a new model with high cost performance and high-quality services.
In 2019, the company was recognized as a national high-tech enterprise and has obtained and applied for a total of 164 patents, including 50 invention patents.
