南丰县精神病医院创办2003年，2004年6月开业，是抚州第三家民营一级精神病专科医院，是抚州市目前民营精神病医院收治病人*多的专科医院，现常住病人200人左右，医护人员30多人。已在南丰县城郊购置了43亩土地，计划2018底迁入新院，并更名为“南丰第三医院”，升级为二级精神病专科医院，开展综合门诊与医养结合的老年病区与康复治疗。
