Fuguo Leather Industry Joint-Stock Co., Ltd. (referred to as Fuguo Leather), formerly Shanghai Fuguo Leather Co., Ltd., is located at Nanda Road, Baoshan District, Shanghai, China. It is a Sino-foreign joint venture established in 1995, mainly producing and processing leather, leather products, and related raw and auxiliary materials. Its investors include Shanghai Leather Co., Ltd. under the Fuguo Group, Fuguo Pacific (China) Investment Co., Ltd., and Fuguo Leather Co., Ltd.
In 2008, upon approval by the Ministry of Commerce, Shanghai Fuguo Leather Co., Ltd. was transformed into a foreign-invested joint-stock company and renamed as “Fuguo Leather Industry Joint-Stock Co., Ltd.” Currently, Fuguo Leather Industry Joint-Stock Co., Ltd. has total assets of 500 million yuan and sales revenue of 1.5 billion yuan. Its products are exported to North America, South America, Europe, Southeast Asia, Japan, Australia, etc., and it has established the “SRL” brand. The annual production of cowhide shoe upper leather is currently about 25 million square feet, ranking among the top in China, mainly supplying leather shoes for brands such as Clarks, Rockport, Ariat, WWW, and Born, and has established long-term stable business relationships. Fuguo Leather's automotive leather products mainly supply car seats for world-renowned brands such as Honda, Toyota, and Roewe, and have been recognized as one of the most important suppliers by GST, the world's largest automotive leather brand.
