Hunan Miaochuang Education Technology Joint-stock Co., Ltd. was founded in November 2014 in Changsha and was listed on the Hunan Equity Exchange in June 2017. It is Hunan's first authoritative training institution focused on youth maker education and an integrated service provider of software and hardware, courses, and teacher training for primary and secondary school campus maker spaces. With STEAM education as its philosophy, its courses cover all categories of maker education, including building blocks, mechanical electronics, modular robotics, Scratch, 3D creative design, and open-source robotics. The course content is closely linked and progressively advanced; with nearly 400 course sessions, it is far ahead in the industry and can achieve full coverage from kindergarten and primary school to middle school. Among them, 3D creative design and open-source robotics teaching occupy a leading position in Hunan.
At present, it has three major campuses: Yaoling Flagship (Huifu Center), Xinghanmen (Dongchen 19 Mansion), and Beichen Phoenix Hui. It operates two major brands, Miaoxiang Maker Education and Senfu Robotics. It was the designated organizer of the Changsha Association for Science and Technology's 2015-2016 "Science Popularization Caravan" activities, and has successively hosted more than 40 "Science Popularization Caravan" activities, covering the six districts of Changsha as well as Changsha County, Liuyang City, and Ningxiang County, benefiting tens of thousands of students and causing a strong response in Changsha. News media such as Hunan Economic TV, Rednet, and Hunan Education TV have reported on it many times. It has also cooperated with many primary and secondary schools (Bocai Experimental Middle School Affiliated to Hunan Normal University, Qingshuitang Primary School, Shazitang New World Primary School, schools of the Changsha Normal University Affiliated Primary School Group, Qingshuitang Beichen Primary School, Yanshan Primary School, Datong Xingsha No. 2 Primary School), kindergartens, and children's palaces to offer courses. Tens of thousands of children have come to Miaochuang to study or experience maker courses.
Since its operation, the company has received full affirmation from provincial and municipal education and science association departments. It has repeatedly supported municipal and county education bureaus in carrying out maker teacher training. It is a recognized *professional* primary and secondary school maker education training institution in Hunan Province, and is also a technical support unit and competition rule-making assistance institution for youth robotics maker competitions in Hunan Province.
In 2017, the company launched a large-scale youth maker education teaching resource website—"Miaoxiang Maker Online" Youth Robotics Maker Education Learning Community (www.***), which freely opens high-quality maker education courses, first to serve young people, and second to serve the broad masses of primary and secondary schools and professional teachers.
