湖北省救在身边应急救护培训中心于2014年在省民政厅注册成立，隶属于湖北省红十字会。大力弘扬“人道 博爱 奉献”的红十字精神，积极推广普及应急救护知识与技能，以保护人的生命与健康，维护人的尊严,发扬人道主义精神，促进和平进步事业为宗旨，以全面提高湖北省全民的应急救护意识和能力为己任，让民众在突发事件现场和面临意外伤害时，能够进行正确的避险逃生、自救、互救和急救为目的的发展格局。具体职责：开展应急救护培训、急救知识普及与推广。
