平阳回生堂创办于1878年，至今已有百年历史，经过历史传承，现已是温州市非物质文化遗产和浙江省老字号，于2015改平阳回生堂药店为平阳县回生堂医药有限公司，保留回生堂商标。2016年成立平阳回生堂中医院，总投资8231万元。2018年进驻鸣山村非遗文化一条街，已建成回生堂中医药文化展厅并与浙江农林大学开展深入合作，打造浙南地区知名的中草药科普教育示范性基地(回生堂百草园)和回生堂中医药与健康产品研发工作室。目前医院正在筹备阶段，致力打造成一家集医疗、美容、养生为一体的中医养生保健医疗机构。
