???????北海市白水塘生活垃圾处理厂是北海市环境卫生管理处下属的全民所有制企业，该厂位于北海市银海区平阳镇白水塘村东侧，占地约774亩，是目前北海市*一家对城市生活垃圾进行处理的独立法人单位，服务范围包括北海市区、铁山港区和合浦县，日处理生活垃圾能力达到700吨，日处理渗滤液能力达到250吨。该厂从1998年建成运行以来，已经无害化处理生活垃圾345万吨，为改善北海市的环境作出了应有的贡献。2002年和2006年，北海市白水塘生活垃圾处理厂垃圾卫生填埋场分别获得中国环卫协会和建设部颁发的“Ⅰ级无害化填埋场”称号。2011年，北海市垃圾处理厂被评为广西壮族自治区生活垃圾无害化处理运营管理示范单位。
