中国连锁经营协会于1997年在民政部注册成立，是连锁经营领域的全国性行业组织，目前，拥有企业会员1000余家，连锁店铺超过32.4万个，包括本土和跨国零售商、特许加盟企业、供应商等。其中零售会员企业2014年销售额达到3万亿元人民币，占社会消费品零售额的11.4%。 协会本着“引导行业、服务会员、回报社会、提升自我”的理念，参与政策制定与协调，维护行业和会员利益,为会员提供系列化专业培训和行业发展信息与数据，搭建业内交流与合作平台，致力于推进连锁经营事业与发展。
