Nantong Cellulose Fibers Co., Ltd. is a technology- and knowledge-intensive modern industrial enterprise jointly operated by China National Tobacco Corporation and Celanese Corporation (USA), integrating chemical, chemical fiber, and thermal power operations. The company has a total investment of USD 759 million, with main products being cellulose acetate tow made from renewable resources and its supporting raw material, cellulose diacetate flake. The single-factory scale of the enterprise ranks first in Asia and second in the world within the industry. The company houses Asia's largest cellulose acetate R&D center and hosts a post-doctoral workstation. It has successively received honors such as the 'National Quality Management Award', one of the first batch of 'Environmentally Friendly Enterprises', 'Model Enterprise for Creating Harmonious Labor Relations', 'Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award', and 'Jiangsu Province Quality Award'.
