启东市第七人民医院创建于1973年，是一所集基本医疗、预防、保健、健康、教育、计划生育、技术服务、康复等主要内容为一体的综合性一级甲等中心医院。2011年成立了北新镇社区卫生服务中心，下辖一个分中心、三个分院。全院现有医职员工120余名，专业卫技人员111名，其中高级职称6名，中级职称57名，中医执业医师5名，公共卫生服务人员15名。
启东市第七人民医院是南通市卫生局首批命名的一级甲等中心卫生院，先后获得江苏省爱婴医院、江苏省示范乡镇卫生院， “无红包医院”、“平安医院”、“文明单位”、“无偿献血先进单位”等多种荣誉称号。
