南通烟滤嘴有限责任公司（原南通烟滤嘴实验工厂）创建于1981年，前身为国家轻工业部300吨醋纤工程项目，是中国烟草总公司*早定点从事烟滤嘴产品设计开发、生产经营的国有独资企业，2006年12月改制更名为南通烟滤嘴有限责任公司，为江苏中烟工业有限责任公司全资子公司。2014年上半年顺利实现了易地技改搬迁，占地面积约160亩，拥有国内一流的滤棒生产自动化物流系统和烟滤嘴研发试验中心，滤棒年生产能力约400亿支，位居国内*。
