监利县启智学校是监利县教体局批准于2011年秋创办的一所从小学到初中的全日制寄宿制民办学校。现有22个教学班，在校人数1055人。学校分东、西两个校区，东校区位于监利县容城镇三元城路(原玉沙中学)，西校区位于容城镇夏家台(原监利电大)。校舍建设规范，环境优美，有现代化设施的教学楼，学生公寓都安装了空调，全天候提供冷暖气，冬暖夏凉，舒爽怡人。
为了长远发展，县委县政府已批准划拨200亩土地，由启智学校、外国语学校和光明小学联合兴建一所5000个学位规模的新学校----监利县荆南学校，荆南学校于2019年建成，届时三所学校将实施整体搬迁。
