中国航油集团四川铁投石油有限责任公司成立于2012年2月24日。由中国航空油料集团公司（世界500强排名第431位）和四川省特大型国有独资企业四川铁路产业投资集团双方本着优势互补、共同发展、实现共赢的战略合作原则，为实现多领域广泛深入合作目标，于2012年12月21日共同出资组建的合资公司。注册资金为3亿元人民币。
公司经营范围为开展成品油批发、零售、仓储服务；化工产品及化工原料、燃料油、润滑油、石脑油、沥青销售并提供相关技术咨询、技术服务；交通、码头及附属设施的投资、开发、经营；中转联运、汽车运输。目前重点发展高速路服务区加油站的经营，成品油及沥青等化工产品的经销。
公司成立以来,已建成运营加油站16座，在建加油站5座（含天府国际机场加油站）。
