盘龙区新迎***幼儿园成立于1994年 3 月，原隶属于官渡区教育局。区划调整后现隶属于盘龙区教育局。2018年6月成功创建为云南省一级一等幼儿园。为充分发挥新迎***幼儿园的示范引领作用，进一步扩大优质资源，在区政府、区教育局的大力支持下于2016年7月实现了一园两址的办园模式——新迎园区和昆明湖园区。
幼儿园总占地面积8550平方米，建筑面积8335平方米。现有班级19个，在园幼儿500多名。
