Ningxia Jingneng Ningdong Power Generation Co., Ltd.

Ningxia Jingneng Ningdong Power Generation Co., Ltd. was established on August 18, 2008, and is located in the Ningdong Energy and Chemical Industry Base, Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, 35 kilometers from Yinchuan urban area with convenient transportation. The company is jointly funded by Beijing Energy Investment (Group) Co., Ltd. and Chinalco Ningxia Energy Group Co., Ltd. in a ratio of 65% and 35%, respectively.

The first phase of the Shuidonggou Power Plant constructed by Ningxia Jingneng Ningdong Power Generation Co., Ltd. includes 2×660MW ultra-supercritical surface-type indirect air-cooled coal-fired units (with simultaneous denitrification and desulfurization). It is a key power source project planned during the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" period in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and is also the thermal power project with the largest single-unit capacity, highest parameters, and longest transmission distance in Jingneng Group to date. The project achieved "dual commissioning" in June 2011, with generated power transmitted via the Ningdong 750kV main grid framework for west-to-east power transmission to Shandong.
