中国图片社创建于1950年11月，前身为中国新闻摄影局图片供应社，2015年10月改制更名为中国图片社有限责任公司。中国图片社具有光荣的历史，一度引导我国摄影事业,尤其是彩色照片制作业发展潮流,我国*张彩色照片1956年出自我社，创造出中国图片制作技术的*高水平，为中国摄影事业发展做出了不可磨灭的贡献。现主要承办全国高校毕业生图像信息采集制作，提供新媒体图片产品服务，提供和编发资料、展览图片，承办展览展示活动以及各类创意、摄影、制作、加工照片服务。
