秀山县中医医院成立于1983年10月，以“仁爱、诚信、敬业、奉献”为院训，是全县*一所公立二级甲等中医医院（同时挂牌秀山县民族中医医院、秀山县红十字中医院、重庆市中医院技术指导医院、黔江中心医院协作医院），占地面积达12.3亩，业务用房18000�，现有床位350张，全院在职职工230余人。是我县“城镇职工基本医疗保险定点医院、城乡居民合作医疗保险定点医院、工伤鉴定、伤残鉴定、工伤保险、人寿保险定点医院。
