陕西平安运输集团有限公司成立于1995年，为股份制交通运输企业。公司现有员工2328人。2007年1月被中国道协评定为一级客运企业，连续3年入选中国道路运输企业50强。
平安集团在省市交通主管部门的正确领导下，坚持以道路运输为主业，客运、站场、商贸并举，共同发展的原则，全力打造品牌型、服务型道路运输企业。目前拥有大型高等级客运车辆及快捷货运车辆九百余辆，营运线路136条，并开通连接区县的公路农村城乡客运班线10条。集团下设1个长途客运总公司、1个货运总公司、1个短途公交总公司；陕西包茂高速客运有限公司、陕西五环客运有限公司等2个子公司，并参股陕高客、西汉高速、西商高速、西宝直达和长安公交。
