海口市第四人民医院属海口市卫健委下属经费预算管理差额事业单位，是一所综合性二级甲等医院。医院创建于1957年，秉承“团结、诚信、求真、务实、开拓、创新”的院训和“心贴心的服务、手握手的承诺“的服务承诺，经过六十多年的发展，已成为海府地区规模较大的集医疗、保健、急救、教学、科研、预防为一体的国家二级甲等医院。医院现编制病床350张，实际开设病床458张，设有临床医技科室26个，配有完善的职能科室。年门急诊407452人次，住院病人15617人次，手术量2852人次，年婴儿出生近五千例，拥有高端设备百余件。能开展二级医院所有诊疗技术。
