泉州市海上客运有限责任公司于2015年2月成立,由福建省泉运实业集团有限公司、厦门轮总海上客运旅游有限公司与泉州丰泽船务有限公司共同出资组建，公司注册资本为人民币3800万元，从事泉州至金门海上旅客直航运输。泉州到金门海上旅客运输是福建省乃至大陆继“两门”（厦门—金门）“两马”（马尾—马祖）海上对台客运航线之后的第三条海上通道。
