襄阳华中科技大学先进制造工程研究院（简称襄阳华中大研究院），于2012年由华中科技大学与襄阳市政府签约共建，是专业从事技术研究、技术服务、成果转化、产业孵化、人才培养等的公共创新平台，目前是襄阳市的省级产业技术研究院、省科技成果转化中试研究基地。
襄阳华中大研究院建设的宗旨是以创新驱动为引领，以面向市场需求为导向，以服务经济发展为目标，汇聚整合企业、科研院所、高校等的资源与优势，推动创新链、产业链、资金链、政策链、人才链深度融合，形成创新创业生态系统，构建区域创新平台，推动技术成果转移转化，加快高新技术产业转化进程，提升襄阳产业技术创新能力和企业核心竞争力，促进襄阳市经济高质量发展。
