Guangzhou Tianhe District Jishan Hospital

Guangzhou Tianhe District Jishan Hospital, formerly a community health service center, was upgraded to a first-level hospital in January 2019, and is one of the subsidiary institutions of the Zhuji Medical Care Project.
The Zhuji Medical Care Project comprises four subsidiary institutions: Guangzhou Tianhe Jishan Hospital, Guangzhou Tianhe Zhuji Nursing Home, Guangzhou Tianhe Zhuji Street Nursing Station, and Guangzhou Tianhe Zhuji Street Elderly Care Home. The entire project is located in a standalone 7-story building with a usable area of over 11,000 square meters, at Zhuji Xinlu Street, Tianhe District, Guangzhou, adjacent to Guangyuan Expressway, 3.5 kilometers from Huangcun Station of Metro Line 4, with multiple bus routes providing direct access, making transportation convenient and fast. Near the project, a standalone 11-story Guangzhou Tianhe Olive Garden Elderly Care Home has been built, covering a usable area of 3,400 square meters with 109 beds, close to Tianhe Children's Park, offering fresh air and a pleasant environment suitable for healthy elderly outdoor leisure activities.
The Zhuji Medical Care Project hospital, nursing home, and elderly care home have a total of 274 beds. Floors 1 to 3 house the outpatient department and inpatient department of Jishan Hospital, floor 4 is the nursing home, floor 5 is the elderly care home, floor 6 is the rehabilitation center, and floor 7 is the cafeteria, laundry room, and office area. Jishan Hospital has 13 outpatient departments and an inpatient department, and is a medical consortium member of the Third Affiliated Hospital of Southern Medical University, a top-tier hospital. The "Third Hospital" regularly dispatches experts to our hospital for consultations, ward rounds, and lectures, with two-way referral for patients, and has initiated a green channel for medical treatment for our patients. Jishan Hospital is striving to become a secondary hospital specializing in geriatric diseases. Zhuji Nursing Home provides 24-hour daily life care for inpatients, with symptomatic nursing, and based on patients' different ages, physiques, and needs, strengthens traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) treatments alongside Western medicine, applying personalized treatments such as TCM decoctions, acupuncture, physiotherapy, cupping, and external applications, and is equipped with nutritional health specialists and psychological therapists for services. The elderly care home mainly serves disabled and semi-disabled elderly, with professional medical and nursing teams providing comprehensive daily care and medical security services. If inpatient services are needed, patients can be immediately transferred to the nursing home or hospital downstairs for treatment. The elderly care home also provides hospice care. The rehabilitation center is equipped with comprehensive rehabilitation training equipment, providing rehabilitation in areas including neurology, muscles, bones, joints, and speech, and offers physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and swallowing therapy, and daily activity training for patients.
The Zhuji Medical Care Project currently has 67 professional technical personnel, including 5 with senior titles and 8 with intermediate titles. All subsidiary institutions under the project are managed uniformly by professional teams with collaborative services. Based on patients'/elderly's different health conditions and needs, medical care, nursing, and elderly care support each other, with quick medical access and convenient transitions, effectively compensating for the insufficient medical and rehabilitation strength of a standalone elderly care home, ensuring the medical and nursing needs of long-term bedridden, vegetative, elderly living alone, and post-surgery rehabilitation patients are effectively guaranteed.
After more than ten years of exploration and practice, under the care and guidance of leaders at national, provincial, municipal, and district levels, and with strong help from people from all walks of life, the project's medical-nursing integrated service model faces good development opportunities. We are committed to further promoting and expanding the characteristics of "medical-nursing integration" services, standardizing management, and improving services. With the Zhuji Medical Care Project as a flagship model, through project expansion and model replication, we aim to build a chain group brand for medical-nursing integrated services, achieving self-development while serving society.
