Jiutai

Jiutai Group was founded in 2002 and is a large private enterprise and a national high-tech enterprise with independent intellectual property rights. It has branches in Linyi, Shandong; Hohhot, Ordos in Inner Mongolia; Guangzhou, Guangdong; Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu; and Beijing. The group is mainly engaged in the research, development and production of methanol, olefins, ethylene glycol, aromatics and other products. It currently has more than 3,500 employees. The Guangzhou company's PDO bio-technology project is an important part of the group's industrial chain extension.
Guangzhou Guohong New Materials Co., Ltd. was established in December 2018 with a registered capital of 100 million RMB and is registered on Xiaohu Island, Huangge Town, Nansha District, Guangzhou. The company plans to invest 1.2 billion RMB to build a bio-technology project with an annual output of 100,000 tons of PDO (1,3-propanediol), which will be constructed in two phases. The first phase, with an annual production capacity of 50,000 tons, is expected to see 15,000 tons put into production in June 2023.
