Wuhan Zheng's Traditional Chinese Medicine Orthopedics Hospital was founded in 1999, located in the central urban area of Wuhan, next to Qiaokou Road Station of Metro Line 1. It has 46 beds and a business area of 1,500 square meters, and is a specialized hospital for traditional Chinese medicine orthopedics. The hospital is equipped with large-scale equipment such as Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Digital Radiography (DR), digital high-frequency C-arm machine, and fully automatic biochemical analyzer, and is a designated medical institution for Wuhan medical insurance. The founder and president of the hospital, Zheng Shengli, was born into a medical family. He is the third-generation inheritor of the Zheng's orthopedics of Laosi Zhitang practicing medicine in Wuhan, the inheritor of the Hubei Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage project "Laosi Zhitang Zheng's Bone-setting Technique", and an associate chief physician of traditional Chinese medicine. The Zheng family has been practicing medicine in Wuhan for over a hundred years. Before liberation, they always practiced medicine under the signboard of "Laosi Zhitang". After liberation, through public-private partnership, they established Qiaokou Jianle Health Center (later renamed Qiaokou Hospital). Over the past 50 years, they have cured tens of thousands of patients and have a very good reputation in Wuhan. The Wuhan Local Chronicles, Wuhan Health Chronicles, and "Jiangcheng Xinglin" published by the Wuhan Health Bureau all record the history of their family practicing medicine in Wuhan.
