浙江大学工程师学院衢州分院、浙江大学衢州研究院（简称浙大衢州“两院”）于2018年12月28日正式揭牌成立、合署运行，由中国工程院院士、浙江大学教授任其龙担任院长。
截至2021年4月，浙大衢州“两院”共有科研人员78人，包括中国工程院院士1人，国家高层次人才3人，国家高层次青年人才9人；教授23人，“百人计划”研究员8人，副教授14人，特聘研究员、特聘副研究员31人。2019-2021年共招收硕士研究生95人。
浙大衢州“两院”聚焦化工、材料、高分子、能源、环保、生物医药等研究领域，下设电子化学品研究所、专用化学品研究所、特种聚合物研究所、新能源材料研究所、生物医药研究所、工业生态研究所等六个研究所及分析测试中心、中试实训基地。积极探索集科学研究、成果转化和人才培养为一体的极具特色的校地合作新模式，将建设成为全国领先的产、教、研融合发展的创新创业平台，国际一流的集教学科研于一体的化工材料研究中心！
