襄汾县浦新发电有限公司隶属于山东国资委下属水发集团（国有企业），公司装机容量为2×15MW，采用2×75t/h次高温次高压生物质直燃锅炉，配2×15MW直接空冷汽轮发电机组，采用空冷节水技术，高效的除尘、脱硫、脱硝技术。主要利用秸秆、果木树枝、农林废弃物等生物质资源为原料进行发电的公司，实现了废物利用，减少了秸秆堆放和焚烧对大气环境的影响，有利于保护土地资源和大气环境。属于国家扶持和鼓励的节能减排清洁能源项目。
