湘潭生活垃圾焚烧发电项目位于湘潭县河口镇宏兴村牛厂坳，项目用地约117亩。该项目总规模为日处理城市生活垃圾1200吨，配置2600垃圾焚烧线。
本项目采用“＋半干法＋干法＋活性炭喷射＋布袋除尘器”烟气净化工艺。飞灰处理采用水泥 螯合剂稳定方式处理。垃圾渗滤液采用“厌氧 膜生物反应器（） 纳滤（） 反渗透（）”的处理工艺方案处理达标后回用。年处理垃圾量42.58万吨，年发电量1.56亿度，年上网电量约1.31亿度，预留二期600吨，总规模达1800吨日。
