荆州市妇幼保健院(荆州市儿童医院)是1984年由联合国儿童基金会援助而建立的集医疗、科研、教学、预防、康复为一体的地市级妇幼保健机构，担负全市400万妇女儿童医疗保健任务，是荆州市六县（市）两区八所妇幼保健院业务技术指导中心。是国家三级甲等优秀妇幼保健院、爱婴医院；省级文明单位、省级文明妇幼保健院、省级健教示范医院、爱婴医院先进单位；是湖北省民政部门定点的五个低视力康复中心之一，荆州市新生儿疾病筛查中心、荆州市白内障定点医院。
