A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Cost Engineer, you will drive diverse projects initiatives. The majobjective of Cost Value Engineering is the generation of high customer value at competitive target costs in product, project solution business. Generating transparency in the respective cost value drivers along the entire value chain by applying state of the art Cost Value Engineering (CVE) methodology.
How You’ll Make an Impact
● Integration of Cost Value Engineering (CVE) business processes promotion of cost value awareness across functions.
● Creation of cost value transparency fproducts solutions, with contributions to improvement initiatives.
● Enhancement of competitiveness profitability through application of CVE methods.
● Support in target setting based on customer needs, competitanalysis, capability assessment.
● Strengthening of the CVE network facilitation of knowledge exchange, ensuring cost transparency with suppliers.
What You Bring
● Bachelor’s degree higher in an engineering-related major, mechanical engineering material engineering is preferred.
● International professional experience, including 5+ years in Engineering manufacturing, fluency in English with cross-cultural collaboration experience.
● Strong communication interpersonal skills fcollaboration with internal stakeholders external suppliers, combined with analytical capability fcost driver identification.
● Expertise in should costing methods realization of cost value optimization opportunities
● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Office tools, with willingness to travel to suppliers production sites. Experience working with TcPCM, aPriori NX is preferred.
● Extensive knowledge of heavy industrial manufacturing, particularly in large steel fabrication, heavy machining, machined parts is preferred.
● Project management experience is a plus
