Shanghai Caohejing Emerging Technology Development Zone Science and Technology Innovation Center Co., Ltd.

The Caohejing Development Zone Science and Technology Innovation Center started in 1989 from a "farmhouse incubator". Over more than 20 years, after several upgrades and transformations, it has now become a comprehensive innovation and entrepreneurship service institution integrating a technology entrepreneurship nursery, a college student entrepreneurship park, a returned overseas student entrepreneurship park, an international business incubator, and a technology enterprise accelerator. It has established a "relay-style" dual-innovation service system covering the entire life cycle of enterprises, cultivating and supporting the development of innovative enterprises, promoting the commercialization, industrialization, and internationalization of scientific and technological achievements, and achieving industrial agglomeration, scale expansion, and capability upgrading in the development zone. It is an important carrier for the Caohejing Development Zone's commitment to "innovation-driven, transformation and development" and the development of the original economy. In 2010, it was awarded the honor of "Best Business Incubator in Asia" by the Asian Association of Business Incubators. In 2013, it was awarded the honor of "Innovation Award for Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Service Institution Model" by the China Technology Entrepreneurship Association. In 2015, it received an "Excellent" (Class A) rating in the national science and technology business incubator evaluation.
