Pipi Network, under Guangzhou Pipi Network Information Technology Co., Ltd., is an open mobile clothing wholesale e-commerce APP based on traditional wholesale markets. It focuses on seven categories including women's wear, men's wear, children's clothing, shoes, bags, accessories, and underwear. It now covers wholesale business district supply sources in multiple cities such as Guangzhou, Dongguan, Shenzhen, and Hangzhou, serving as a key destination for wholesalers and purchasers to buy in bulk. Since its development, more than 15,000 wholesalers have settled on the Pipi Network platform, covering 3.47 million purchasers nationwide, with daily orders exceeding 90,000 and transaction volume exceeding 9 million yuan. The traditional clothing wholesale chain is lengthy and geographically constrained, often forcing retail stores to purchase only from provincial wholesale markets. Compared with first-hand supply sources in Guangzhou and Hangzhou, prices are about 30% higher, and considerable time and effort are required. Connecting upstream and downstream through Internet methods and streamlining the supply chain presents enormous opportunities. However, traditional clothing B2B still cannot replace offline wholesale markets, mainly because although online transactions are convenient, online images cannot truly represent fabric materials, patterns, and craftsmanship, leading to poor purchasing experiences. Since 2016, Pipi Network has become the first domestic e-commerce platform to combine live video streaming with clothing B2B. Due to strong interactivity and realistic, clear visuals, live streaming closely replicates the on-site purchasing experience. It quickly achieved gratifying results after launch, with a single merchant surpassing 1 million yuan in transaction volume within 3 hours, significantly improving conversion rates compared with traditional static imagery. Today, Pipi Network has become the representative of live streaming in the clothing wholesale sector.
