重庆垫江三峰新能源发电有限公司负责垫江县生活垃圾焚烧发电厂项目投资、建设、运营，项目总投资3.1871亿元，占地面积72.3亩，项目选址位于垫江县沙河乡南山村黑塘沟，距离垫江县城约为30公里。本项目建设生活垃圾焚烧发电项目1座，焚烧处理设施规模为800，设置两条400焚烧线，近期建设1条处理能力为400垃圾焚烧线 1台9凝气式汽轮发电机组，并预留中远期400的生产线建设场地，根据生活垃圾焚烧量的增长分期建设。另外，项目配套餐厨垃圾处理工程，餐厨垃圾设计处理能力60吨日。目前，项目建设正在有序推进。
