The Jiangxi Research Institute of CAICT was established in April 2021. It is a high-end think tank and industrial development service platform in Jiangxi, jointly built by the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, the Nanchang Municipal Government, the Yingtan Municipal Government, and the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology. The Jiangxi Research Institute of CAICT focuses on fields such as mobile Internet of Things, industrial Internet, and digital government, and has built a millimeter-wave testing laboratory, an IoT security testing center, the Jiangxi Industrial Internet Public Service Platform, the Nanchang Intelligent Terminal Innovation Application Service Platform, the Digital Economy Public Service Platform, and the Virtual Reality Public Service Platform.
