Shanghai Technology Exchange, established in 1993, is China's first permanent technology market and technology transfer demonstration institution jointly established by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government. On December 31, 2019, the inter-ministerial joint meeting on the cleanup and rectification of various trading venues replied to the Shanghai Municipal Government, agreeing to the filing of the Shanghai Technology Exchange with the joint meeting. On October 28, 2020, the Shanghai Technology Exchange officially opened, building a core trading system, organizing technology achievements and technology trading services in accordance with the law, and providing one-stop transaction settlement and transaction certification services, forming an agglomeration effect of innovative resources and promoting the industrialization of scientific and technological achievements.
