Hanergy

Hanergy Holding Group was founded in 1994, with its headquarters in Beijing and over 5,000 employees. It has branches in many domestic provinces as well as North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific and other regions. It is currently the largest private clean energy enterprise in China with the highest degree of specialization, spanning hydropower, wind power, photovoltaic power generation, and energy services.

At present, the total installed capacity of Hanergy's equity in completed and under-construction hydropower projects exceeds 6 million kW, and the total installed capacity of completed wind power is 131MW. With the solar photovoltaic industry as the leading sector, it has invested in the construction of solar energy industry R&D and manufacturing bases in Sichuan, Guangdong, Hainan, Zhejiang, Shandong, Jiangsu and other places. By the end of 2012, Hanergy Holding Group's total annual photovoltaic production capacity will reach 3GW (3 million kW), making it the world's largest silicon-based thin-film photovoltaic enterprise. Hanergy is developing power station resources globally and has signed agreements for the construction of more than 10GW (10 million kW) of solar power stations with Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, Ningxia, Jiangsu, Hainan, Shandong, Hebei and other provinces and regions, as well as Europe, becoming a high-tech clean energy enterprise that integrates the entire industry chain including technology R&D, high-end equipment manufacturing, photovoltaic cell production, and photovoltaic power station construction.

Currently, Hanergy Holding Group has nine sub-groups: Hanergy Power Generation Group, Hanergy New Materials Industry Group, Hanergy High-Tech Energy Industry Group, Hanergy Photovoltaic Industry Group, Hanergy International Photovoltaic Power Generation Group, Hanergy Photovoltaic Power Generation Group, Hanergy Photovoltaic Construction Group, Hanergy Emission Reduction and Service Group, and Global R&D Center.

The headquarters of Hanergy Holding Group is located in the office area in the North Park of Olympic Forest Park, with a total construction area of approximately 22,000 square meters. The Group will build a photovoltaic building-integrated (BIPV) base in the headquarters park as a pilot project, covering an area of about 21 hectares with a total installed capacity of 2MW (2,000 kW). This base will become one of the most complete, largest, and most technologically advanced amorphous silicon thin-film BIPV demonstration projects in China. It will not only demonstrate the advantages of BIPV with tangible data, change traditional energy concepts, and lay the foundation for large-scale promotion, but also bring good economic and social benefits.
