Shenzhen Huada Beidou Technology Co., Ltd. ("Huada Beidou") originated from the navigation chip design business under China Electronics Corporation (CEC) and was established in Shenzhen on December 6, 2016. It focuses on the independent design, R&D, sales and related business of navigation and positioning chips, algorithms and products.
With over 30 years of IC design heritage and experience accumulation, Huada Beidou has a solid foundation in the baseband and RF integrated design, algorithm research, and productized solutions of BD/GPS navigation and positioning chips. As a national high-tech enterprise, it independently designed and developed the "world's first multi-system multi-frequency baseband-RF integrated high-precision chip supporting BeiDou-3 signal system". Meanwhile, its chip products are the first domestic professional navigation and positioning chip products to enter the global top ten (ranked 7th in ABI Research reports for two consecutive years), listed in the European Global Navigation Satellite Systems Agency (GSA) 2019 Market Report's core device manufacturers in the consumer market, and again listed in the 2022 EO GNSS Market Report.
Huada Beidou has planned a complete chip product line targeting different needs of industry applications, focusing on shared bikes, automotive applications, drones, intelligent terminals, high precision, etc. This includes HD8020, HD8030, HD8120, HD8040, HD9300 series chips. At the same time, according to different application requirements, it has designed multiple standard-precision, high-precision, and inertial navigation modules that are pin-compatible with other mainstream GNSS modules on the market. The HD8020, HD8030, HD8120 series chips and modules for vehicle management, intelligent terminals, and drones; the HD8089A automotive-grade chip for automotive applications; the HD8040 series chips and modules for shared bikes, vehicle navigation, logistics tracking, vehicle monitoring, drones and other fields; the HD9300 centimeter-level precision series chips and high-precision positioning and heading modules for high-precision applications; and the HD9200 chip and module for high-precision timing applications.
As a national high-tech enterprise, Huada Beidou has undertaken the construction of the IoT Research Center under the National Engineering Research Center, the provincial and municipal BeiDou Satellite Navigation Engineering Technology Research Centers, the Academician Sun Jiadong Workstation, and other innovation platforms. Currently, the company has applied for more than 200 patents and has won multiple industry awards. Meanwhile, Huada Beidou has also undertaken key chip R&D and industrialization tasks at various levels from the National Development and Reform Commission, the National BeiDou Office, Guangdong Province, and Shenzhen City.
