缪氏百年历史*早要追溯到一代名医缪希雍。缪希雍幼年孤贫刻砺，17岁患虐，久治不愈，自问医典，得法自愈，遂立志从医。为探寻治病秘方和济世良策而隐居数年，其后南入浙闽、北达齐鲁，游学行医达万里，着有《神农本草经疏》三十卷，是常熟虞山医学流派**的代表人物之一。
