Datang Mobile Communications Equipment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Datang Mobile") is a core enterprise under Datang Telecom Technology & Industry Group, a large high-tech central enterprise directly under the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. It is the proposer of TD-SCDMA, the third-generation mobile communication international standard with independent intellectual property rights in China, the developer of core technologies, and the promoter of its industrialization. It has always led the technical evolution and industrialization of TD-LTE, the subsequent technical standard of TD-SCDMA, and holds core intellectual property rights for both TD-SCDMA and TD-LTE.

Its number of global standard proposals and pass rate in the TDD field rank first in the world. Meanwhile, as an important member of China's independent innovation system, since its establishment, Datang Mobile has undertaken nearly a hundred government projects at the national, provincial and ministerial levels, as well as in Beijing, Shanghai, Xi'an, and other locations.
