Jiangxi Agricultural University

Jiangxi Agricultural University is a distinctive and high-level "Double First-Class" university in our province. It is a university co-built by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Jiangxi Provincial People's Government, and a university co-built by the National Forestry and Grassland Administration and the Jiangxi Provincial People's Government. It is a university under the National Basic Ability Construction Project for Universities in Central and Western China. The university is located in Nanchang, the capital of Jiangxi Province, with a total area of 16,000 mu. The university independently established a national key laboratory in the field of Jiangxi* and nationwide* in the pig sector, possesses 53 research platforms at or above the ministerial and provincial levels, and has developed distinctive discipline areas with advantages in domestic pigs, rice, biodiversity conservation, and more. It currently has over 1,800 in-service faculty and staff, with more than 80% holding doctoral or master's degrees. It has 176 person-times of * talents, represented by two academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and 355 person-times of provincial and ministerial-level talents. It has internationally influential research teams in animal genetics and conservation biology, as well as 2 "National University Huang Danian-style Teacher Teams," 27 national and provincial teaching teams, and 7 ministerial and provincial innovation teams. There are 2 National Teaching Masters, 3 National Model Teachers, 14 Provincial Teaching Masters, and 11 Provincial Gold Medal Teachers.
