Wuxi Xihua Casting Co., Ltd. is located in the core area of the Yangtze River Delta - the picturesque Hudai Industrial Park in Binhu District, Wuxi City, adjacent to S48 (Shanghai-Yixing Expressway) and S342 Provincial Road, with convenient and smooth transportation. At present, the first phase investment has reached 150 million yuan, forming a professional casting production enterprise with an annual output of 60,000 tons of castings and a maximum single-piece weight of 70 tons. The company has the right to import and export, and its castings are exported to the United States, Japan, Europe and other countries.
Currently, the company employs over 500 people, covers an area of more than 80,000 square meters, and has about 150 sets of equipment. The main melting equipment includes: 2 cupolas of 15 tons/hour, one 15-ton, one 10-ton, and one 2-ton medium-frequency melting electric furnace, one 30-ton and one 10-ton holding furnace, and lifting equipment with a maximum lifting capacity of 150 tons. Other equipment includes: 2 resin sand production lines, a sand mixer of 60 tons, and a total of 10 mixers of 30 tons, 20 tons, and 15 tons. There is one shot blasting machine of 70 tons and one of 30 tons, and 4 machines below 10 tons. There are 6 normalizing and annealing furnaces of various sizes, with a maximum heat treatment capacity of 50 tons per furnace.
For casting inspection, the company adopts SPECTRO photoelectric direct-reading spectrometer, GE digital ultrasonic flaw detector, low-temperature impact testing machine, portable metal hardness tester, metallographic microscope, various mechanical performance testing equipment, chemical analysis and sand testing equipment. This provides timely and accurate information for product quality control. The company has passed the ISO9001:2000 quality system certification.
The company mainly produces various grades of castings, including wind power components GJS—350—22U—LT, QT400—18AL, QT700—2A; injection molding machine components QT450—10, QT500-7; mining truck components QT450—12; marine cylinder liner wear-resistant gray cast iron alloy; heat-resistant grate bar vermicular cast iron, etc. The annual output reaches 60,000 tons.
The company has gathered a number of senior casting professionals and accumulated a set of iron casting production technology and production experience. It has strong development, design, and research capabilities, and conducts research and application of new technologies, new processes, and new materials.
On the basis of the original production of high-quality casting products, the company has launched large-scale machining business. Up to now, it has introduced: Qiqihar Heavy CNC vertical turning center, Shenyang Machine Tool Group Kunming CNC boring and milling center, Haitian Precision CNC gantry machining center, Taiwan You Machine CNC vertical turning center, Taiwan DaFuro CNC boring and milling center, Japan Toshiba horizontal machining center, Germany Hekt horizontal CNC machining center, Germany Zeiss large gantry coordinate measuring machine, and the United States Parlec tool presetter, and many other domestic and foreign high-precision machining and testing equipment. It has the comprehensive capability of rough and finish machining, and testing of casting products.
