瑞安市解放路小学，前身为东郊初等学堂，创办于清光绪33年（公元1907年），校址设在永丰街金氏宗祠。民国13年，易址东安寺，更名为城厢永丰小学堂。民国18年，改称城厢永丰镇中心小学，任职校长系陈勐鹏。1949年新中国成立，永丰镇中心小学与凤山小学合并，迁址项宅墓，再度改名为永丰小学，校长应树干。1956年，改称为瑞安县实验小学，校长周月墀。1972年，改称城关六小。1974年小学附设初中，改称城东学校，1984年，小学部迁出原址，另建新校舍，择址万松住宅规划区凤山巷14号，背靠万松中心大街，复称“城关第六小学”，2002年，更名为瑞安市解放路小学，现因校网调整，2015年9月1日前搬迁至原瑞祥职业中专校区（凤山巷2号）。
