Zhongke (Luoyang) Robotics and Intelligent Equipment Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as the Institute) is an important vehicle for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements jointly established by the Luoyang Municipal People's Government, the Department of Science and Technology of Henan Province, and the Institute of Automation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (hereinafter referred to as the Institute of Automation). Relying on the innovative resources and scientific and technological achievements of the Institute of Automation, and with artificial intelligence as its core, the Institute focuses on Luoyang's ten major emerging industries, forms its own self-sustaining capabilities, plays a role in promoting scientific and technological innovation in Luoyang, vigorously develops new technologies for industrial transformation and upgrading, cultivates new business forms for the landing of technology incubation, explores new pain points guided by market demand, and shapes new platforms for resource coordination and linkage. Since its establishment, the Institute has introduced 15 innovation teams, achieved the transformation of 15 scientific and technological achievements, applied for 101 patents and software copyrights, incubated 10 enterprises (including innovative enterprises represented by Zhongke Huiyuan, with a valuation exceeding 3 billion yuan), and served more than 100 small and medium-sized enterprises. Based on its favorable development momentum and the efficiency of outputting scientific and technological achievements, the Institute has been awarded 8 provincial-level platforms, 2 provincial-level major special projects, 4 municipal-level platforms, and 1 municipal-level special project.
