Inner Mongolia Power (Group) Co., Ltd. is a wholly state-owned, extra-large power grid enterprise directly under the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It is responsible for the construction and operation of the power grid in the central and western part of the autonomous region, covering a power supply area of 720,000 square kilometers. The company supplies electricity for industrial, agricultural, and animal husbandry production in 8 cities (leagues), as well as for the daily life of over 14 million urban and rural residents. It also provides cross-provincial and cross-border power supply to the North China Power Grid, Yulin in Shaanxi, and Mongolia. By the end of 2022, the group's total assets reached 115.7 billion yuan, with operating revenue of 108 billion yuan, making it the second state-owned enterprise in the autonomous region to achieve the 'double 100-billion' milestone. The group ranks 255th among China's Top 500 Enterprises, 95th among China's Top 500 Service Enterprises, and 47th among the National Top 500 Energy Enterprises. It has been rated as an A-level enterprise in performance assessment by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the autonomous region for 11 consecutive years.
