Baowu Resources Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Baowu Resources") was registered and established in November 2021, formerly known as Baosteel Resources Co., Ltd., with its headquarters in Shanghai. As of the end of 2024, the company has 14,402 on-post employees, 85 wholly-owned and holding subsidiaries (including managed ones), and 19 branches. In recent years, Baowu Resources has focused on the three core elements of cost, efficiency, and scale, with its production and operation business continuously improving. Logistics volume, sales volume, and total output have been steadily increasing, and its comprehensive strength ranks first among China's top 50 metallurgical mining enterprises for consecutive years.

The company's main businesses include four major sectors: domestic mines, overseas mines, marketing and trading, and logistics. Among them, the domestic mine sector mainly engages in the production and processing of iron ore concentrate, pellets, metallurgical flux ore, and building materials, committed to building a metallurgical mining industry system integrating construction, operation, deep processing, and underground intelligent equipment manufacturing, continuously building green mines and providing users with high-quality low-carbon raw materials; the overseas mine sector mainly engages in the investment, development, and operation of high-quality overseas mineral resources, with a number of core projects having significant global influence and comprehensive competitiveness in the industry's forefront; the marketing and trading sector is mainly responsible for the marketing of self-produced and processed minerals at home and abroad, as well as bulk commodity trading (iron ore, coal coke, alloys, and non-ferrous metals). By building an integrated marketing service system, it provides customers with one-stop personalized supply chain solutions such as consulting design, technical cost reduction, raw material processing, inventory level, price management, logistics, finance, and risk control, helping global resources "connect infinitely"; the logistics sector mainly engages in ocean shipping, coastal and river shipping, port operation and ore processing, logistics services, and ship and cargo agency business. Currently, it has 14 ocean-going vessels, 23 coastal and river vessels, and a first-class domestic bulk cargo fleet and cargo-owner terminals. By the end of 2026, the annual processing capacity of port blending ore will exceed 20 million tons.
